I posted a bunch of photos from the past two months:
We spent a week in Minnesota visiting friends and family for Christmas and then…
went to Wisconsin for a week to spend some time with Mandy’s family, and then…
went to Kansas City for Annie and Victor’s New Year’s weekend wedding on our way home.
Laura, Nate and Adele were up from New Mexico for a few days and they swung by our place for a visit.
We took Liam to Butano State Park for his first camping trip. We joined Susanne, Emma, Sascha and Elizabeth, and Cara and Sam. Susanne had the foresight to reserve campsites well in advance for the 4th of July weekend.
Mandy, Liam and I spent a week in Minnesota visiting my friends and family. Most of the week was spent at my folk’s cabin on Bay Lake. It was a quick trip but we got to introduce Liam to some family and old friends. We also got to meet my friend Kelly’s new son James.
Jeremy and Hilary were out from New York for a few days.
Eric called me at work on Friday afternoon and asked if I wanted to go look for sharks in the Farallon Islands at 6:00 the next morning. He knows a guy who runs trips out there who had had some cancellations. I eventually came to realization that the opportunity was too good to pass up. We only caught a few glimpses of great white sharks, but we did see quite a few humpback whales on our way in. Floating around the Pacific isn’t a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

The local news came by the 1890 Bryant Studios and visited the RedStart world headquarters to interview Mandy and Sara about Open Studios, which is happening in their area this weekend:
Dan and Ilana got married in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Check out Eric’s gallery for lots more photos.
Eric was in town briefly. We hung out at our place for a while and he told us stories of polar bears and sharks.
Sara was in California for a whirlwind business trip. We met for dinner and drinks and she was on a plane again before the sun came up.
