When we were in Minnesota for Christmas my dad took Linus and Liam out for a ride in one of our old sleds.

I posted a bunch of photos from the past two months:

We spent a week in Minnesota visiting friends and family for Christmas and then…

went to Wisconsin for a week to spend some time with Mandy’s family, and then…

went to Kansas City for Annie and Victor’s New Year’s weekend wedding on our way home.

I finally got around to hanging Liam’s jumper (it involved drilling out rivets, a trip to the hardware store, and voided warranties).  He quite enjoys it.

Monica took this clip of Linus and Liam kicking back in their easy chairs. I think Liam was trying to make some kind of point to Linus, who seemed a bit incredulous.  He evidently expressed his position too forcefully and offended Linus.

They are wearing their matching bibs which were gifts from our great family friend Donna, who recently fell seriously ill.

Mandy booked us a tent cabin at Costanoa for my birthday.  We took Friday off and took Liam down the coast for the weekend.

Liam learned a new trick!  I thought his grandparents might like to see this video of him rolling over.  We like to celebrate the minor victories…

I can hardly believe the little guy is already six months old!  To celebrate we gave him his first solid food; at first he wasn’t sure how to handle the smushed avocado but he eventually figured it out and seemed to enjoy it.
